Accessibility work in progressByteSizeNotes is testing toward WCAG 2.2 AA but does not yet claim full conformance.

1. Our target

ByteSizeNotes aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and support keyboard, touch, screen reader, zoom and reduced-motion use. Automated checks help but do not replace testing by people who use the site.

2. Current support

  • Semantic headings, labels and landmarks on key routes.
  • Visible keyboard focus and responsive layouts.
  • Progress and feedback that do not rely on colour alone.
  • Text resizing and device-width reflow on redesigned learning pages.
  • Plain-language privacy and safety explanations.

3. Known limitations

Some legacy lesson and quiz controls still need complete keyboard and screen-reader checking. Some decorative contrast, focus order and generated lesson markup may need correction. Current issues will be logged and repaired as they are found.

4. Ask for help or an alternative

Email contact@bytesizenotes.com with the page, task, device/browser or assistive technology (if comfortable sharing it), and the format or adjustment that would help. Do not send unrelated medical information. ByteSizeNotes will review the barrier and try to provide a reasonable alternative.
