In one minute

  • Four released IGCSE sample lessons can be read without an account; other released lessons require Pro or eligible verified school access.
  • Keep sign-in links and sessions private and use the service fairly.
  • Practice feedback is an estimate, not an official exam grade.
  • Future Pro plans will renew until cancelled; cancellation stops the next charge.
  • Mandatory Cyprus and EU consumer rights always apply.

1. Who supplies the service

ByteSizeNotes is operated by Stavros Vorkas, Cyprus. General, billing and privacy contact: contact@bytesizenotes.com. Safety reports: safety@bytesizenotes.com. Commercial-register and VAT details will be shown here where applicable.

2. Accounts and age

  • The four open sample lessons do not require an account.
  • A learner must be at least 14 to create a student account.
  • A person buying a subscription must be at least 18 and authorised to use the payment method.
  • Account information must be accurate. Magic sign-in links and sessions are personal and must not be shared.
  • Eligible English School accounts may keep two active browser sessions. A later sign-in removes the oldest active session.
  • There are no public student profiles, comments or direct messages.

Student accounts are available from age 14. Access to the student trial is by invitation.

3. Free, school and future Pro access

  • Free: €0 while offered, including four IGCSE sample lessons, account progress for included material and the limits shown on the pricing page.
  • English School access: an eligible student account verified through the exact @englishschool.ac.cy email domain receives the complete released IGCSE learning platform without changing its billing plan. AI-assisted written marking is not included.
  • Pro: access to all 19 released IGCSE lesson topics, the complete released topic-practice catalog and the paid AI-marking allowance shown on the pricing page.
  • Planned Pro monthly: €6.99 per month, including any applicable VAT.
  • Planned Pro annual: €49 per year, including any applicable VAT.
  • Pro payments are currently disabled. The checkout page will show the final customer total, included course and billing interval before any payment.
  • A paid subscription renews automatically for the selected interval until cancelled.
  • Cancel before the renewal date to stop the next charge. Paid access normally continues until the end of the current period.
  • A future price change applies only after advance notice and never changes an already-paid period.

School access is an eligibility rule operated by ByteSizeNotes and does not by itself state or imply a partnership, endorsement or purchase by the school. The current Pro proposal covers Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science 0478. AS Level access will be described and priced separately if it is offered.

See the pricing page and Cancellation and Refund Policy.

4. Learning content and permitted use

ByteSizeNotes gives each user a personal, non-transferable right to use released learning material included in the user’s current plan for study. Do not copy, scrape, resell, republish or build a competing collection from substantial parts of the service.

ByteSizeNotes is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by Cambridge University Press & Assessment or Cambridge International Education. IGCSE™ is a registered trademark of Cambridge Assessment International Education. Practice must be described as ByteSizeNotes-adapted material, not an official past paper or mark scheme.

5. Practice feedback

Practice feedback is formative. Exact-answer tasks use deterministic checks. Longer answers may use Cloudflare AI to estimate which ByteSizeNotes scoring points are present, while ByteSizeNotes validates quoted evidence and calculates the score. Any checker may be wrong. Feedback is not an official grade, examiner decision or guarantee of results, and it is not used for admission, placement or a school grade.

6. Fair use and safety

  • Do not bypass limits, share another person’s account or probe the service for vulnerabilities.
  • Do not submit malicious code, harass anyone or upload unnecessary private information.
  • Do not use the service to infringe copyright or other rights.
  • Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or legal rights.

7. Availability, suspension and closing an account

Features may change as the platform improves. If a material paid feature is unavailable for a significant part of a paid period, ByteSizeNotes will provide an appropriate remedy. Access may be suspended for security, non-payment or serious misuse, with proportionate notice where practical.

The account page provides data export and account deletion. Deleting an account is separate from cancelling an active subscription because legally required billing records may need to be retained in minimised form.

8. Liability, law and complaints

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. ByteSizeNotes is a study aid and does not guarantee an examination result. These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, while any mandatory protections of a consumer’s home country continue to apply.

Questions or complaints can be sent to contact@bytesizenotes.com. Material changes will be explained before they take effect.
